The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to engage with Universities, Schools and Businesses to uncover training opportunities that will lead to new business opportunities for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
- The IT Account Manager’s job is to expand our Training Opportunities. You must build relationships with potential clients to offer IT Training services.
- The job involves maintaining client relationships and finding opportunities to grow business.
- Develop long-term relationships with prospective clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- The ability to identify leads, qualify opportunities, and create proposals is vital.
- The ability to follow up and close in a B2B transaction is a must.
- Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and earn new customers.
- Build a pipeline of new and unexplored prospects in targeted industries and functions.
- Attend Meetings, Conferences, and Events to promote our Training Services.
Qualifications
- Preferred college degree in technology, business, or sales/marketing
- 5+ years of sales experience in IT Training or Consulting Services
- Preferred familiarity with ITIL, PMI, Lean, procedures, and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry-level support roles)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Extremely Organized, Honest and has ability to work independently and with the team
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals
- Competitive/performance-oriented individual who is driven to achieve goals
- Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized,detailed, and results driven.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented.
- Desire to grow into Director of Sales Position as the company grows.
Compensation Package
- Base Pay + Commission
