In light of the introduction of PRINCE2 7th Edition and the forthcoming translations of this latest edition, PeopleCert announced the phase-out of several PPM certifications. This includes PRINCE2 5th Edition, PRINCE2 6th Edition, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) 4th Edition, and Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) Practitioner Re-registration.
When will PRINCE2 5th edition exams be retired?
As PeopleCert continues to evolve and improve the certification offerings, the PRINCE2 5th Edition – Foundation, Practitioner, and Re-registration exams will be available until the 31st of July, 2024. The last day to order exam vouchers for these certifications will be the 30th of June, 2024. This timeline provides ample opportunity for candidates to complete their certifications before the new edition takes precedence.
When will PRINCE2 6th edition exams be retired?
Similarly, the PRINCE2 6th Edition – Foundation and Practitioner exams will also see their final day for candidates on the 31st of July, 2024. To accommodate your planning, the cutoff for ordering vouchers for these exams is set for the 30th of June, 2024. This ensures that all interested professionals have the chance to finalize their PRINCE2 6th Edition certifications.
Important Dates for MSP 4th edition and P3O Practitioner Re-registration
- For MSP 4th Edition certifications, including Foundation, Practitioner, Practitioner Re-registration, Advanced Practitioner, and Advanced Practitioner Re-registration, the last exam date will be the 30th of September 2024, with the final voucher order date on the 31st of August, 2024.
- The P3O Practitioner Re-registration will follow the same timeline as the MSP certifications, with the last exam date on the 30th of September, 2024, and the voucher order deadline on the 31st of August, 2024.
