The Take2 re-sit exam option is a new program for those who want a little insurance heading into their exam session. This option MUST be purchased in conjunction with an exam voucher.

Taking an exam means you invest in time, energy, and money. Wouldn’t you like to sit your exam knowing that if the outcome is unexpected, you could have another shot at a fraction of the exam price? We propose the Take2 re-sit exam option that becomes available to you for selected exams exclusively through Online Proctoring in the case of an unsuccessful result. Take2 offers you:

The Take2 re-sit exam option MUST be purchased with an exam voucher. To add the Take2 Option to your exam, you must purchase the exam voucher and the Take2 option at the same time. If purchasing multiple vouchers, add the Take2 Option to your cart for each voucher you want linked to Take2.

Can I add the Take2 Later?

If you choose not to purchase the Take2 option when you purchase your exam voucher and then change your mind, you can still purchase this option directly from PeopleCert up to 15 minutes before sitting the exam. Sign in to your PeopleCert Candidate Profile and purchase the Take2 option to add it to your exam.

IMPORTANT: If you do not purchase the Take2 re-sit exam option before taking your exam, you will not be eligible for a retake exam through the Take2 program.

How do I redeem my Take2 voucher?

If you purchased the Take2 re-sit exam option and did not pass your initial exam, then the re-sit option is already enabled in the PeopleCert system. When your official exam results become available, you are notified by e-mail from PeopleCert to schedule your re-sit exam. It will be conducted through online proctoring, allowing you to take it from your home or office at your convenience. You have up to 6 months to prepare and take your re-sit exam from the date of your initial exam.

Note: Take2 is an add-on service exclusively offered for selected exams and becomes available only when the initial exam linked to it has a “fail” result. Take2 is not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit, even if it isn’t eventually used. Candidates must schedule and take the re-sit exam within 6 months from the date of their initial exam. Take2 is exam-specific; it cannot be used for any other offering and is valid only for the exam originally purchased. Failing to show up for a Take2 exam appointment or not rescheduling the appointment before their scheduled appointment forfeits candidates’ ability to use the Take2 generated voucher.
