The PPRINCE2® Foundation plus Practitioner course provides you with both a fundamental and in-depth knowledge and practical understanding of the PRINCE2® project management method

The PRINCE2® Foundation portion of this combination course will provide participants with a fundamental understanding of the PRINCE2® project management method and help participants prepare for the PRINCE2® Foundation examination.

About the PRINCE2® Foundation plus Practitioner Exams

The PRINCE2® Foundation exam will be offered on the third day of class. It is a closed-book exam consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions. To pass, you must receive a score of 55% (33 out of 60).

The PRINCE2® Practitioner exam will be offered on the fifth day of class. It is an open-book exam and is based on an objective-testing format. You will have two and a half hours to complete 68 questions across the syllabus. In order to pass the exam, you must receive a score of 55% (38 out of 68). The guidance that can be referenced during the Practitioner exam is Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2: 2017 Edition, which is provided with the courseware materials.

PRINCE2® Foundation plus Practitioner Prerequisites

PRINCE2® Foundation:

There is no formal requirement for attending this course although it would be beneficial to have some understanding of project management.
Participants will be given access to a PRINCE2® pre-course video module two weeks prior to the start of the class (subject to booking conditions).
It is important participants complete the pre-course work prior to attending as the content covers items essential to the successful running of the program. It will also enhance the learning experience for all participants.

PRINCE2® Practitioner:

PRINCE2® Foundation certification OR one of the following PMI or IPMA certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

"I passed my exam with 40/40. The training was helpful; I have been in IT a long time but those specific test strategies made the score what it was. My execution was as follows: I went through all 40 questions and answered what I thought was best. Then, I went back to the beginning and read every answer and made myself figure out which answers could be easily eliminated and which were more likely answers. I also noticed patterns among questions so that I could flip back and see how some questions helped with other questions' answers. I actually changed six of my answers in the second run-thru of the test; that is unusual because usually the best strategy is to go with your first answer. It was using the strategy you taught us of reading every answer and making myself figure out what the other options were (e.g. the answer was "major incident management" but the other options were the definitions of "emergency change," "release management," and "warranty") that gave me that perfect score."
